I just talked to Brian Gordy at Phenix City Dragway and we decided to move the show to Saturday night instead of Sunday because of the extreme heat. So the date will be August 21st. I will get the gate times and have them posted on here. I believe the gates will open a 5:00pm so it gives time for the track and air a chance to cool off.
I need a list of the members that want to attend so we can get the advertising started. Thanks

Not worried my friend......just getting the final adjustments made to this old blower so it won't go duck hunting again. I hear that the waters down there has been full of sharks lately. Reports of several getting bite by the species called "Gremlins". Sure hope someone catches that critter and takes it out of commission. I have had several encounters with it and it can be nasty. I think I am prepared for the battle if it does show it's nasty head again. With a little de-tune I think my 431 gauge duck gun might just put a end to it in your water pond..... Looking forward to seeing all of my racing buddies soon. Stay cool and safe my friends. It's off to work again, and again , and again. I am sure going to enjoy a few days off. Coyote |

Don't worry now PaPa smurf. Them there Fords are just nuts and bolts. Just remember this I got my cross hairs set on one of them this weekend so if you need any help remember I got your back. Sure hoping that things work out for you Ole Buddy.

you know even though i am more than likely not gonna be there. i can not believe that billy mac..no show jones..............has not got someone to race for the hair this year.....this just makes me wonder if he is scared of everyone

Dad gummit Murph...why ya gotta go and start some stuff when I have been behaving myself?? True, I earned my nick-name honestly...a cronic lack of $$ tends to help perpetuate that moniker (and it "may" cause me to miss out on this weekend)
as for being scared??...THAT AIN'T happnin!!! I lined up against the Outlaw last year with no fear in my eyes and WOULD, givin the oportunity, do it again. I have no problem pairing up with Big Sexy either... I don't mind watching the ass-end of a Chebby going away from me...(I don't neccessarily "Like" it, but I ain't gonna lose no sleep over it either...
